Job/Person Summary:

Are you an enthusiastic, hardworking person looking for the opportunity to be part of a dedicated and caring team within an exciting and inclusive church school? Then we have the position for you!

We are looking for a cleaner to ensure our learning environment is kept clean, clear and in accordance with COSHH and Health and Safety Regulations. The role will include cleaning classrooms, toilets, corridors and shared areas to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.

The successful candidate needs to be able to work within the wider team as well as using their initiative. It is important that they have a flexible approach to working and have a sense of pride in their work in order to consistently achieve and maintain the highest of standards within their role.

We are looking for someone who:

• supports the values, ethos and overall vision of our school where everyone is valued
• has high standards of cleaning
• communicates professionally with all members of the school community, including children and adults, maintaining confidentiality at all times
• is able to work individually or as part of a team to carry out a wide range of cleaning duties to meet standards and procedures
• takes pride in their work to maintain a safe learning and working environment
• is reliable, consistent, hardworking, flexible and efficient
• upholds their safeguarding responsibilities maintaining confidentiality

The successful candidate will be expected to complete on-site Safeguarding, Health and Safety training as well as attend onsite courses upon starting the role.
