Are you enthusiastic about helping children succeed and motivated by the opportunity to support Physical Education lessons and sport across a school? We are looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant Level 3 or Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to join our warm and supportive school community, working with pupils 2 days per week or five afternoons per week to run high‑quality Physical Education lessons and sports activities, clubs and inter‑school sport events. The successful candidate will either hold relevant sports‑related qualifications and/or experience or receive appropriate training through the school to support them in the role.
Key Information
Start Date: 1st June 2026 or before, where possible
Hours/Contract: 15 hours per week, part-time permanent position. The 15 hours can be worked over two full days or across five afternoons. This includes covering teachers’ Planning, Preparation and Assessment (PPA) time through each week, primarily covering Physical Education lessons, a 30‑minute lunchtime sports club, and two hours each week to organise and run inter‑school sports events. Term time plus inset days.
Salary: Grade D
