Schools receive additional funding to support the continued improvement of Physical Education (PE) and sport in Primary schools. This funding – provided jointly by the Departments of Education, Health and Culture, Media and Sport – will be allocated to Primary School Headteachers to utilise effectively within the school. This funding is to be used only to develop the provision of PE & sport, but schools can complete evaluative tasks to support how best to spend the funds each year.
