Salary Details: Grade D: is D1 (£13.95ph) up to a D5 (£15.35ph) depending on experience. FTE £26,918 to £29,616

Kingsclere C of E Primary School is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Clerk to the Governing Body. The ideal candidate will be resilient, assertive and show great initiative. The successful applicant will need to have a flexible approach to time. The role of the clerk will require approximately 78 hours per year, which will include attendance at approximately 6 meetings for the Full Governing Body, and 6 each for the Finance and Curriculum Committees, a total of approximately18 meetings each year.
Proven clerking experience in the education sector will be a distinct advantage in this role, as you will be supporting our Chair of Governors to ensure the smooth running of the Governing Body. The role requires the post-holder to have very good organisational and IT skills, along with the ability to take concise, accurate minutes. The successful candidate will also need to demonstrate strong levels of confidentiality and good communication skills (verbal and written). The successful candidate must also be willing to work variable numbers of hours (within the annual allocated hours), each week as some weeks will have a greater requirement of working hours than others.
