Job/Person Summary:

We are looking for a cleaner to ensure our learning environment is kept clean, clear & in accordance with COSHH and Health & Safety Regulations. The role will include cleaning classrooms, toilets, corridors and shared areas to maintain a safe and hygienic environment to work and learn.

The successful candidate needs to be able to work within the wider team as well as using their initiative. It is important that they have a flexible approach to working and have a sense of pride in their work in order to consistently achieve and maintain the highest of standards within their role.

We are looking for someone who:

• Supports the values, ethos & overall vision of our school where everyone is valued
• Has high standards of cleaning
• Communicates professionally with all members of the school community, including children and adults, maintaining confidentiality at all times
• Is able to work individually or as part of a team to carry out a wide range of cleaning duties to meet standards and procedures
• Takes pride in their work to maintain a safe learning and working environment
• Is reliable, consistent, hardworking, flexible and efficient
• Upholds their safeguarding responsibilities maintaining confidentiality

The successful candidate will be expected to complete on-site Safeguarding, Health & Safety training as well as attend onsite courses upon starting the role.
